William Thomas “Bill” Muldoon • June 3, 2021

William Thomas (Bill) Muldoon, age 79, of Pensacola, FL, died peacefully on June 3, 2021, at Covenant Care Center for Hospice Care at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Bill was born on October 29, 1941. He grew up in Pensacola where he attended Tate High School. In 1959, he joined the United States Army, serving three years with the 101st Airborne Division. He married Phyllis Anne (née Wolfe) on February 7, 1970, and they shared 51 loving years together. He retired after 20 years with the City of Pensacola in 2000. Shortly after, he became a founding member of the Community Life United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, FL, where he and Phyllis attended.

Bill was a devoted husband and father. He will be deeply missed by his wife; five children: Kym, Billy (Tami), Jonathan (Elisha), Phillip (Kristi), Jason (Susan); eight grandchildren: Brandon (Renee), Kyle, Kian, Ryan, Ethan, Ailia, Shae, and Nora; two great-grandchildren: Liam and Connor; his sister, Judy; his brother, James, and many other beloved family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Mary Ellen.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on the same day at 2:00 PM. Flowers and condolences may be offered at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Donations in Bill’s honor may be made to his place of worship (http://www.clc.life).

    What a life. Always had a smile. I remember all the special fish fries at The beach house at Ft.Morgan. I liked listening to his stories. My thoughts and prayers to the whole Muldoon Family. Love ya’ll, Elizabeth Nall Underwood Hindman.

    Love Bill he was a kind man always made you fill welcomed, I remember the great fisherman he was and he and his dad could cook up some fish , I pray you and Kim and Judy’s heart are filled with peace and will have many wonderful memories to bring you much joy in the days and years ahead
