Veronica L. Linton, 77 of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Monday, September 20th, 2021.
She was born on August 24th, 1944 in Trenton, New Jersey to Betty and Michael Bodnar and resided in Pensacola for over 37 years. Veronica was the owner of Sunny Brite Dry Cleaners for 14 years. She was a member of Victory Bible Baptist Church and a cubs fan. She loved all baseball and football. Her dog, Lady was her sweetest companion later in life. She enjoyed being around all the grandkids and great-grandkids anytime she could. Eating out and having cookouts was always a favorite pastime. She enjoyed being with her church family and going out for Sunday dinners with her daughter and son-in-law in Fort Walton was something she loved. Her dog MelMel was her newest companion, whom she loved. Veronica passed due to long term health issues.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Quincy Linton of 18 years, brother, Mike Bodnar, and son-in-law, Bob Reierson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcia Sacovitch (Bill) of Fort Walton Beach; granddaughters, Ashlee Schrope (Tim) of Bolivar, MO, Brittany Marsala (Paul) of Buffalo, MO; grandson, Robert Reierson III of Pensacola, Florida; great-grandchildren, Ella, Lillian, Lincoln, Elsie, Emmitt, Lana and Eugene Schrope, Eilee, Eli, Eden and Easton Marsala.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, September 24th, 2021 from 12pm until the service begins at 12:30pm.
The family would like to thank Olive Branch, West Florida Hospital ER doctors and nurses, West Florida Covenant Care Hospice and Navarre Gardens for their heartfelt care and compassion during this time.
