Vera Nell Davidson • August 31, 2021

Vera Nell Davidson, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. She was the Heart of her family and was loved by everyone she ever met.

Vera was a loving mom, “mawmaw” and great grandma. Her greatest Joy was giving of herself to make sure those around her had more than they ever needed or wanted. Her generous heart and loving ways made her an amazing nurse, as well. Her dedication to being an RN led her on a 40 year journey of service. She loved every minute of caring for thousands of patients. She was truly a Saint!

Vera was married to the love of her life, James Davidson for 64 years. They raised 3 daughters and brought them up to know the love of Jesus. She taught Sunday School, Training Union, sang in the choir, never missed visitation and led countless people to the Lord by her words and actions. If you encountered Vera you knew you had seen the hands and feet of Jesus in action.

Vera’s yard was always full of glorious flowers and bird houses. She loved being outside and especially loved the water. A long walk on the beach was one of her favorite treasures. The Joy of hearing her great grandchildren playing and laughing in her beautiful yard brought her more happiness than she could contain. They were the light of her life!

Vera is survived by her 3 daughters, Kathy Brangoccio (Tony), Vicki Terry (Roy), Jamie Nemith (Chris); 5 grandchildren, Brandi Hadden (Josh), Joshua Terry (Heather), Jacob Terry, Cory Brangoccio, Shallie Patterson; 5 great grandchildren, Jack, Olivia and Wes Terry and Jackson and Emmy Hadden; and her most adored companion, Puppy.

A graveside service will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 2:00PM. All friends and family are welcome to join us.

Your description of your Mom is spot on and both she and your Dad were so influential in my life and in my Christian walk.
I am praying for you all – looking forward to being reunited with our Moms in heaven!!!
    With much love,
