She loved the Lord and enjoyed attending First Baptist Church of Cantonment in the past.

Memaw was the foundation of our family.
She loved fiercely.
She never met a stranger.
She loved having company.
She loved sweets and snacks.
She wasn’t afraid to tell you how she felt about someone or something.
She could deer hunt better than most men.
She wore a sweater every single day, even in the summer.
She gave the best hugs.
She loved to sing happy birthday to her family. You could always count on her call to sing to you on your birthday.
She loved her family and friends and made sure they knew it.
Although she is no longer here in the flesh, her memory will live on forever through all of us.

During her stay at Victorian Manor, she made many special friends. We are forever thankful for her friends who became family.

A special thanks to Thora’s loving caregivers.

We will celebrate her life on Wednesday, June 29 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

I have so many good childhood memories of your family: climbing the big magnolia tree in the front yard; playing under the water hose on a hot summer afternoon; seeing all the wrapped Christmas presents under the beautifully decorated tree. Your Mom was always at the center of those memorable moments. The Regan family will always be a part of my childhood and those memories. My love and condolences to your family at this great loss.

  2. Jerry Bergh says:

Growing up in Pensacola Aunt Thora somehow came out as Aunt Sowee … go figure. She was a strong women who put up with much in her life. She was always sweet to me, had a good sense of humor and made the best fried eggs I’ve ever had. I will miss her Christmas cards but she will always hold a special place in my heart. Much love and sympathy to Judy, Susie, Katie, Cathy, Shirley and my dear Aunt Emily.
