Thompson Clavon “Clay” Allday • May 2, 2022

Thompson was born in Winn, AL on February 3, 1941 to Cecil Lee and Timothy Thompson Allday. He graduated from Pensacola High school in 1959 and then from Georgia Tech in 1964.
After graduating from college, Clay worked as an electrical engineer for Monsanto from 1964-1996.
Clay married his wife, Kathy, in 2001. He retired and lived in Wing, Al from 1998-2020.
He enjoyed traveling the US for 12 years, planting pecan and fruit orchards, and building his dream of acres in the Conecuh National Forest.
Clay is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Lee and Timothy Thompson Allday; and his son, Anthony Kevin Allday.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; daughters, Robyn Michele Allen, Wendy Lee Powers; grandsons, Brandon Allday, Carson Powers; and great granddaughter, Haylie Allday.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 6th from 1-2pm with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm

    RIP Clay, You and I went to work at Chemstrand at the same time in the engineering department. We were good friends all those years of working together. I lost track of you after you retired and I tried to find out where you were located to no avail.
