Robert Heflin Brown, age 59, passed away on April 20th, 2019. He was the husband of Maureen Brown. They shared two loving years together.
He was born in Munich, Germany on August 10th, 1959. He was the son of Jimmy and Heidi Brown and graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1977. He served in the United States Navy as a US Corpsman for six years. After his time in the US Military, he worked for the United Stated Postal Service as a Postal Carrier until his retirement in 2018.
He loved Alabama football, fishing, and cooking outdoors for family and friends. He will be remembered for his no nonsense personality, his honesty, loyalty, and sense of humor. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need.
Robert is survived by his wife, Maureen Brown; mother, Heidi Brown; daughter, Kimberly Hay (husband-William Hay); son, Eric Brown (wife-Kristi Brown); stepson, Arnold Alberto; grandchildren, Maddox Hay, Savannah Hay, and Mason Brown. He is also survived by his sisters, Marilyn Brown (husband-Doug Brown), Martina Brown, Dani Burkart; stepmother, Merle Brown; stepbrothers, Terry Stanley, Ronnie Stanley, Michael Stanley, and Timothy Stanley in addition to several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Brown; brother, Tobias Brown; and grandparents, Heflin and Moline Brown.
A gathering will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 3:30PM until the service begins at 4PM.

    I know y’all won’t remember me, , I am Jimmy Wayne’sfirst cousin, l have pictures of y’all when you were just babies at Heflin and Moline’s 50th Anniversary, I am so sorry , Robert was so young. My prayers are with y’all.

    Kimberly you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers my grandkids and children are visiting. Your dad is no longer suffering, if there’s anything I can do please let me know, very fitting it had to rain mailman never liked the rain.
