Randall Glen “Randy” Markham, Sr • January 4, 2022

Randall (Randy) Glen Markham Sr. was called to heaven on January 4, 2022. Randy Markham was born in Pensacola, FL on August 5, 1940.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jewell Markham; and 1 daughter, Rhonda Markham Nelson (Brian); 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, numerous nephews and nieces, and a special great niece.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Glen Markham II (Bubba); and his parents, George W. Markham Sr. and Winifred Copeland Markham.

Randy graduated from Pensacola High School in 1958. He joined his Father’s Sign Business, and went on as co-owner with his 5 brothers, George Markham Jr., Nathan Markham, Johnny Markham (Nancy), and Timmy Markham (Sue), for 50 years, until his retirement in 2004.

Randy’s favorite Bible Scripture was Colossians 3:1-4, “Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth.” Today Randy has joined his treasures in heaven!

Pensacola Memorial Gardens is in charge of funeral arrangements. Reverend David Shofner will be officiating the Celebration of Life Service, Friday Jan. 7, 2022, with visitation beginning at 12:00PM until service begins at 1:00PM.

    Sorry to hear about Randy. Have known him since first grade at Hallmark. We grew up together and he was good friend even though we didn’t see each other often in later years.
