I am so sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Pat was one of the people instrumental in getting me to join the Pensacola Police Department. I enjoyed working with him. I have nothing but fond memories of being around him. I never saw him without a smile on his face. I know that words can do little to ease the grief and pain of his passing, but I will keep his family and friends in my prayers.

I had the privilege of working with Pat at UWFPD for several years until he retired from there in 2013. When first working with him, it didn’t take long to know that Pat was a special person. He was wise, funny, and genuinely kind. The way Pat conducted himself, treated others, shared stories of his past experiences, and spoke of his family made it easy for everyone to like, respect and love him. He will be truly missed and fondly remembered always. Sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family.

Patrick Adamson was the nicest and friendliest police officer I have ever met. Many times we kids from 1970s Scenic Heights and Eastgate would gather around his cruiser or go for a ride with him. The times he checked on me, or when we went to lunch or I helped him with his bicycle patrol will always remain great memories. May his family know how much he was well-liked. Rest in peace, my friend, and thank you so much.
