Mary Collins • October 30, 2022



Mary Dell Dyson Collins, age 89, of Pensacola passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on October 30, 2022. Mary was born in Bonifay Florida and moved to Pensacola in 1960.

Preceding her in death are her husband Hank Collins; her brothers, Coy, Jimmy, Joe and Alton Dyson; her sister, Nell Austin; her son, Curtis “Crickett” Collins and daughter, Martha Luck.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Munoz; Daughter/granddaughter, Denie Parrish; Grandsons, Chris O’Brien and Suede Collins (Cheyenne); Great Grandson, Hunter Parrish (Caleb); Great Granddaughter, Heather Parrish (Camden); one great-great-grandaughter, Bristol; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was employed with Gayfers and Dillards for 25 years retiring in 1998. She was a member of East Brent Baptist Church since the early 60’s. She loved gardening and having plants throughout her yard and she enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Visitation will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, November 11 from 6:00-7:30pm with services on Saturday, November 12 at 11:00am.
