Mable Jean Brown, 73, of Pensacola passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. Mable was born October 16, 1949, in Pensacola, Florida to George Washington Smith and Kathryn Boykin Smith. Mable graduated from Pensacola Technical High School. She started working at AAA Motor Club in 1972. After retirement, she volunteered at Health & Hope Clinic.

Mable was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and all her friends. Some of her favorite things were traveling, puzzles, flowers, and reading her Bible or a good book.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. And enjoyed Wednesday night Bible studies.

Preceding Mable in death is her parents George and Kathryn Smith.

Surviving Mable is her husband, Ronald Brown; brother, George Smith and wife Sandy; sister, Mary Kathryn Peebles; daughter, Deanna Davis and husband John; son, Wes Brown; granddaughter, Brittnee Ennis and husband Justin; grandson, Correy Davis and wife Sydney; grandson, Tanner Davis; great-granddaughter, Braelynn Ennis; great-grandson, Weston Ennis; great-granddaughters, Wyette and Willow Ennis; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Dennis and Cindy Brown.

The family will receive friends on January 3, 2022, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Sacred Heart.

In lieu of flowers please donate in Mable’s name to Hillcrest Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
