Laura Clarine Brown was born September 23, 1930 in Pensacola, Florida. Laura was a devoted wife and Christian. On Sundays you knew where to find her worshipping the Lord. She also loved to cook, paint, sew, and listen to big band music. Everyone loved her potato salad. Laura could make sweet melodies on the piano. She loved interior design and knew just how to make a house feel like home, all were welcomed.
Laura is preceded by her husband Lamar, her daughter Sherry, son Wesley and great granddaughter Rachel. Laura is survived by her children Phillip (Sheila), Penny (Dennis), Barry (Anita), and Marla (David), her grandchildren Terra ( Eric), Wesley Jr. (Missy), Rebekah (Jason), Col. Phillip Jr. (Jennifer), Mandy (Cameron), Dennis Jr., Joshua (Deidre), Michelle(Zach), Holly, Lindsey (Dustin), Tyler, Zachary, Landry, and 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Crown Hospice www.crownhospice.com or your local hospice.
A celebration of life for Laura will be 2:00pm at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Saturday, the 12th of March. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1:30pm until the service begins.

    Laura was one of my oldest and dearest friends.I never met a more humble woman in my lifetime. Never judged,was just the perfect friend. I will miss you greatly sweet lady….

    Laura was a very sweet person. She used to sit by me in church. We were buddies. She send me cards after we moved from Pensacola, they meant a lot to me that she thought of me.
