Kathryn D. Proctor, age 89 of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2022. Kathryn was born in Atmore, Alabama and lived in the Pensacola area for 79 years. She worked for the Escambia County School district for 35 years as a bookkeeper and has been a member of East Brent Baptist Church.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Winnie Moring; her sisters, Althea and Ernestine; her brother, Arby; her husband, Edgar L. Proctor; and a daughter, Barbara Ard Frison.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd Proctor (Joyce); her daughter, Leigh Berryman (Craig);a step-daughter, Nancy Gillespie (Arnold); 12 grandchildren, Jason Frison (Elizabeth), Stacy Hooper (Jeff), Robby Proctor (Rachel), Tommy Proctor (Christina), Justin Proctor (Alex), Michael Berryman, David Berryman, Zachary Berryman, Barbara Pease (John), Melissa Remeau (Chris), Jennifer Thornton (James), and Jonathan Crawly (Kaitlyn); 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Susie Measamer; nieces, Kay and Cindy; a nephew, Barry; and a dear friend, Elena O’Campos.

The family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice Services & West Florida Home Care Services; caregivers, Mandy, Kat, Patrice, Judy, Doris, and Liz; and a special thanks to Mary Randalson.

A graveside service will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 9:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Kathryn’s memory to Northwest Florida American Cancer Society.

    Heaven received a VIBRATE Angel 06/26/2022. Kathryn was a wonderful Christian lady and was witnessing every time she could. She was a very dear friend to me since 1989, our friendship was very special. Kathryn, you may be gone from your home here on earth but you will never be forgotten……until I see you again my friend. Love you!!
