Kathryn A. Crain • April 28, 2019

Kathryn Ann Crain, 47, of Pensacola went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Katie was born in Fairfield CA, but spent most of her life in Pensacola. She attended Little Flower Catholic School, and later Pine Forest High. Her passion was her family. There was not a day where she was not with her children. She was a keeper of strays… not just her fondness for pets, but her willingness to welcome anyone into her home who needed a place to rest, rehab, and recuperate. She was a volunteer in the community. Many cheerleaders in the area were blessed by her commitment to excellence as she coached cheer for twelve years at Ensley. During her tenure as a Sunday School/Vacation Bible teacher she also helped many young people experience the Love of Jesus.

Survivors include her fiancé, four children, two step children, and son in law, sister and brother in law, step sister, and aunts, Bryan Dewall, Diedra McNeely, Tyler McNeely, Stephanie Powell, Cheyanne Crain, Gage Watson, Megan Dewall, Tyler Dewall, Denise Walden, Randy Walden, Betty Owens, Mary O’Boyle and Sunny, Mary Kay Snyder. Special family members include “Gigi” Jana Dye, Shirlett and Bobby Cotrell, Troy and Tricia Crain, and Stephen Powell, numerous nieces and nephews, and of course all of her adopted family.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Marcus Point Baptist Church Friday, May 3rd. Visitation begins at 12:30, Service at 1:30 immediately followed with burial at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
