In honor and loving memory of Karen R. Richards. Beloved mother of Shelley (Jerry) Westendorf and Zachary (Angel) Richards. Cherished grandmother of Olivia Westendorf, Samantha Westendorf, Braden Richards, and Bree Richards. Dear sister of Sharon Rowley. Loving daughter of the late Ivan and Grace Rowley. Passed away May 26, 2021 at the age of 70. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 4th at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral home, 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL 32526. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

    Dear Shelly, Zach, Sharon, and family,
    I was so saddened to hear the news about my dear Karen.
    What a precious cousin and friend she has been to me my whole life.
    Her mother, Grace, and Ivan have had me in their home so many times growing up.
    I have so many sweet and happy memories there.
    They all have ministered to me, and my family numerous times over the years.
    I will never forget it, or them, for their kindness and love to us.
    I know this is a an incredible loss for you all.
    Our hearts and prayers are going out to you all.
    May God comfort and carry you all during this difficult time.

    We will plan to see you all on June 4th.

    I am so sorry to hear of the. death of Karen. We worked together for many years at BellSouth and she was such a sweet, loving person. I had no idea she was ill because I retired in 1997. My sincere sympathy and condolences go out to her family. She will definitely be missed.

    So sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. Such fond memories of the family. Her sister, Sharon, and I grew up together and I spent many hours at their home. Her parents, Grace and Ivan Rowley, were like second parents to me. May God bring peace and comfort to her family and friends.
