Aunt Joyce and I would call each other nearly every day just to talk and laugh with each other. She is rejoicing today in Heaven selah

  3. Dawn Mann says:

Joyce, as well as her husband, Bob, were dear friends of me and my family since the 1970’s when I was a child, and we attended the same church in Asheville, NC. (she was my Sunday school teacher).
After my family moved from Asheville, I did not know that when I came to PCC as a freshman, that Joyce and her husband had moved to Pensacola.
By no “coincidence”, my family found ourselves sitting near the Wilsons in Campus Church that first Sunday (1982).
She was a “campus parent” to me through my years at PCC.
When I met the man who later became my husband, Bob and Joyce were very influential with their prayers and encouragement to the both of us.
It was a treat to reconnect with Joyce when we returned to PCC in 2013. We were able to have several visits and share memories. She’ll always be a fond memory of mine.
