Joseph B Bowles (JB) was born July 14, 1932 in Autauga County, Alabama and went to be with the Lord July 17, 2020 in Cantonment, Florida at the age of 88. We would like to thank Covenant Hospice and the Nurse Samantha and nurses aid Gina for their time and compassion they showed JB during their care. JB is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Eunice Bowles and by his wives, Jacqueline Bowles and Essie Bowles, as well as his son Joey Bowles. JB is survived by his daughters, Phyllis Rheinhardt (Steve) and Karen Jones (Wade), as well as Kathy Sjodin (Norm), Bobby Mills (Mitzi) and Jimmy Mills. He also had many Grandchildren; Heather Neal, Wade Jones, Cole Rheinhardt, Cameron Bowles, Kayla Copenhaver, Eric Evans, Jason Sjodin, Kevin Sjodin, Eric Sjodin Amanda Mills, Ryan Mills and Cameron Willoughby. The Great Grandchildren are; Michael Carlisle, Amy Carlisle, Erica Sallions, Brandon Neal, Kaleb Sjodin, Katie Sjodin, Kyla Sjodin, Hayden Sjodin and Liam Sjodin. JB was also blessed with 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Lauren Taylor, Kyleigh Taylor (His Heart) and James Carlisle.
JB loved being outdoors gardening, fishing and was a Man of God at Victory Bible Baptist Church. His Great Great Grandchild Kyleigh was his heart and light of his life. He loved boiled peanuts and loved cooking. He made the best fried turkeys at Thanksgiving! He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War. He loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a hand if needed. He was a true Christian. He was a man of integrity and was the kindest, most gentle man to all people. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be Monday 7/20/20 from 6pm-8pm with the service at 10:30am on 7/21/20 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral home.

    JB was one of the kindest, most loving men I have ever known. My parents, Charles and Bettye Williams loved him deeply. They and Aunt Jackie are now reunited with him. He was a good husband, father and step father to his family. My condolences are with you all.
