Jonathan Michael Douglas, age 32, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022. Jonathan was born to Michael and Donna Douglas on March 19, 1989 in Pensacola, Florida. He was a graduate of J.M. Tate High School and attended Mississippi College. He played football for both schools. His passion for football started as a child when he first played at Bellview. Growing up he always threw the football with his dad, which is a tradition that he continued with his boys. Jonathan was a proud father to his boys and enjoyed spending every moment he could with them. His children were the light of his life. Jonathan was a member of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church and was an avid Florida Gators fan.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wallace and Barbara Goode as well as his uncle, David Goode.
Jonathan is survived by his wife, Victoria Douglas; sons, Bryce Douglas and Kade Douglas; step-son, Dominic Luzardo; mother, Donna Douglas; father, Michael Douglas; sister, Jennifer Giffin; brother-in-law, Matthew Giffin; nieces, Lauren Giffin and Brooklyn Giffin and paternal grandmother, Florence Guthrey. He is also survived by multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service to honor Jonathan will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:00am. Because Jonathan was a huge Florida Gators fan, the family invites you to wear Florida apparel to either service.

  2. Mike and Donna – I remember when Jonathan was born, he and Erik are two months apart. I remember when his name was picked out – such a sweet baby. My prayers for you guys are without ceasing for peace and comfort only our Heavenly Father can provide – may he wrap his loving arms around you, and your entire family.
