John N. Authement • December 25, 2019



John N. Authement, 72 of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. He was born in Geneva, Alabama and lived in the Pensacola area for over 58 years.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sonya Nell Authement and father, Cleveland “Andy” Authement.
John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wanda T. Authement; mother, Doris Authement; sons, Kevin Authement (Kim) and Danny Authement (Tammy); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Chapman (Noah), Meagan Frazier (Michael), Jonah Authement, Aleisha Authement, William Authement-Brockett; sisters, Trudy Cook (Jerry) and Gail Authement; brother, Brent Authement (Jackie); great-granddaughter, Theia Grace Frazier and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December28, 2019 from 2pm until the service begins at 3pm.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Covenant Care Hospice and Sacred Heart Hospital for their care and compassion during this time.

    Uncle Johnny always had a kind smile, warm hug, and funny word to share. I didn’t get to spend near as much time with him in my adulthood but I have crazy fond memories of him as a child. We love and will miss you!

    I think of the song by the Inspirations “ If You Only Knew “ . Johnny is in Heaven with our Lord now , no more pain and suffering. He is with the Angels praising our Lord forever. Praying for Mrs Wanda and all the family. Praying that our God will give Mrs Wanda the strength to get through this time of sorrow.
