Jimmie Lee Swafford Woolum, 83, of Pensacola, Florida passed on August 13, 2020.

She was born on March 1, 1937 to Amos and Lucille Swafford in Rockwood, Tennessee. Jimmie graduated from Rockwood High School in 1955. She married her husband, Ernest Floyd Woolum June 29, 1957. Jimmie retired from NAS Pensacola as a Public Works employee. She was an active member of Ensley Church of the Nazarene for over 45 years. At Ensley, she was a talented church pianist and choir member. Jimmie loved to cook, sing, play piano and accordion, go to the beach, grow and pick her flowers, and spend time with her loved ones.

Jimmie was known by others for her big heart and kind spirit.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years Ernest Woolum; cousin and close friend, Betty (Paul) Johnston; son, William Woolum; daughter, Lisa MacPhail; 4 granddaughters, Kristin (Adam) Cabana, Courtney (Adam) Reed, Summer (Brandon) Tucker and Morgan (Alex) Aubrey; 2 grandsons, Chris MacPhail and Johnny MacPhail; Beloved great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Lucille Swafford; aunt, Mareda (Walter) Neal;

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM and visitation will be from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Road, Pensacola, FL 32526. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.   8. We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Jimmy. We had no idea until my Aunt Mary Ann Patrick’s daughter sent me a message after it was over. Mrs. Jimmy worked with my dad Eddie Bondurant at Public Works. We are very sorry for your loss and daddy just couldn’t believe it. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
