Jeannia Ann Threlkeld (Blackman), age 71 of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Jeannia was a one of a kind woman. She and her husband, Sid, lived in Beulah where they enjoyed fishing and working in their yard together for many years. Jeannia loved with all of her heart and would drop anything to be there for the people who needed her. She enjoyed going to the movies, live music, and dancing often with her family and friends. Most important to Jeannia was her family. She shared a special bond with her “boys” and loved to spend time with them. Her most special buddy Ethan was the light of her life and she was his. Jeannia was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Sidney Threlkeld.
She is survived by three daughters Donna Myrick (Chuck), Eva Peaden (George), and Teresa Dixon; two grandchildren Amber Cooke (Daniel) and Cain Myrick; two great grandsons Ethan and Emerson Cooke; and lifelong friends, Carol Beasley and Juanita Grissett.

A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 17 from 3-4 PM, with services to follow directly after until 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made to Vitas Healthcare. The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare for their heartfelt care for Jeannia Threlkeld.

    I don’t want to say goodbye! I miss you so much already! You were always there for me! I could call you day or night and we just talked, you were never too busy for me! I love you truly like a sister, but I am so glad you no longer are in pain! We will be reunited again some day !
