Jean H. Patrick • July 21, 2021

Jean H. Patrick passed peacefully into Heaven on July 21, 2021 surrounded by the love and devotion of her 3 children.
Born in 1927, the oldest of four on a farm in Pelahatchie, MS, she loved spending time outdoors helping her Daddy and brother with farm chores, driving a tractor, fishing and visiting with her large extended family.

Her life journey brought her to Pensacola in 1966 where she spent the next 53 years. She enjoyed a 20+ year career in the Comptroller’s Office at Pensacola Junior College where she made many life long friends.
As an avid sports fan, especially SEC Football, she was always watching and cheering for her Auburn Tigers. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church where she served for several years as a volunteer.

Family was her greatest source of pride and enjoyment, especially when enjoying time outdoors together.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Patrick, and her brother, Joe Holmes.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Joyce Sanford and Christine Felts,
her 3 children, Sandra Plevin (Sandy), Janet Murphy (Joe) and Michael Patrick (Barbara),
3 grandchildren, Michelle Berryman (Nate), Tim Patrick (Lindsay) and Eric Plevin,
4 great grandchildren Nora Rae Berryman, Sully Berryman, Hudson Patrick and Reagan Patrick

A message from her children:
We will miss her, take comfort in our wonderful memories and cherish all of the great life lessons that she taught us.

They would like to extend a special thanks to her dear friend, Vance Land, to the
staff of Dogwood Forest of Acworth, GA, and to the staff of Amedisys Chapter of Hospice for all of their loving care and concern in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests a donation to the Hospice Chapter of your choice or to the Ministry Village at Olive Baptist Church.
