Jean Brooks, 84, born in Hartford, AL, gained her heavenly wings on January 1st, 2021 surrounded by family. She resided in Pensacola FL. She had a passion for babies and small children. She loved her boys and would grab a pull handle if you messed with them. There is also an unknown number of the Pensacola population that she whipped with a hot wheels track. If she missed when she swung high, she would get you when she came back low. Her life was filled with children and the love of racing with Rex and the boys.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Edrena Howell; husband, Rex Brooks; sister, Joyce Campbell; son, Randy Brooks.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Ricky Brooks and wife, Tracy, Russell Brooks and wife, Natalee, Ronald Brooks and wife, Chasity; eight grandchildren Jessica, Mariah, Tyler, Lake, Shane, Ashlan, Brianna, Brenden and Morgan; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Arrangements will be Thursday January 7th, 2021 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens off Pine Forest Rd, Pensacola FL. Family visitation is from 12pm till 1pm. Friends will be received from 1pm till 2pm. Service will be at 2pm.

Sorry to hear the news of her passing. 40 years ago we spent a lot of time together. I’ll see her one day and we can share cousin time again. I also have the same thing. Live them while you have them
