James Nathan “Jimmy” Phillips • July 6, 2021



James Nathan “Jimmy” Phillips, 59, of Lillian, Alabama was called home on July 6, 2021. Jimmy was born on January 18, 1962 in Beaumont, Texas.
Jimmy worked construction most of his life, including roofing and stucco siding. He also worked as a deckhand on fishing charters.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Phillips, and his mother, Elizabeth Ann Thrasher.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jordan and Brittany Justice; his ex-wife and dear friend, Denise Justice; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Joy Phillips; and his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Nate Craig. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews. He loved his family.
Jimmy had a heart of gold and met no strangers. He loved everyone equally. He was an avid fisher and hunter.
Jimmy has been buried at Pensacola Memorial Gardens next to his beloved mother. The family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held on August 7, 2021 in Elberta, AL.

    A great friend, only known for 3 years. Special kindness about him. Caring, loved hunting and talking about outdoors and fishing. Was sweet to my son. Miss him already so much. Hunting club won’t be the same this year.
