Jack P. Boyer, 80 died Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Pace, Florida.
He leaves behind his wife Linda (Grantham) Boyer of 50 years; his son Jack Steven; his daughter Regina (Boyer) Castor, Son in Law Stephen Castor, 4 grandchildren: Becca, Megan, Brandon, and Katie, and two sisters, Jane Schmucker and Belle Biggler. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces.
Jack graduated high school in New Paris, Indiana and joined the U.S. Navy shortly thereafter. He served for 21 years as an Aviation Metalsmith and retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He then went on to serve as a contractor at Eglin Air Force Base and NAS Pensacola. Quiet and reserved but with a sense of humor he served as a volunteer firefighter and was the Safety Officer at Pleasant Grove Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years.
He enjoyed reading and tinkering with blue prints and computers but most of all, spending time with his grandkids and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him.
