God’s choir has another high tenor singing with them today. Heavens sounding sweeter all the time. Will see you in a little while, friend.
Dad, I know it has been only a few days since you moved to Heaven. I am hurting. You stood by me no matter what. You always gave me sound advice as a man of God. Your legacy will not be forgotten. Gracie and I are so very proud of you. We proudly carry on the McKinnon name. Whether or not you realize it, you have taught me many lessons in life. You have always been a strong man in my eyes, with your mind and strength. I cherish the times we spent together no matter how long or short. I was always excited when we were able to go fishing together. Even if we caught fish or not. The quality of time we shared is forever engraved into my heart. No matter of the situation, you were always the listening ear I needed. There will never be anyone to replace you. Through trying times in the past and present, you have been there. You never judged, but loved. I will continue to my promise to you that we discussed, and will not fail you. I know you are in a better place with our Lord Jesus Christ, but we will miss you. Your time on Earth has been completed. Thank you for forgiving me, thank you for telling me that you are proud of the man that I am today. I enjoyed our time together, even how short it was. The times we had coffee together will forever be a treasure in my heart. I was always excited to come home and tell Gracie we had plans to have coffee. It did my heart good that you accepted Gracie with loving arms. Even when it was not a popular choice with others, you choose love and acceptance. You made it clear that you had two daughters and what a blessing it was. Gracie holds dear to her heart all of the sweet times of conversation and bonding. Some things that were only said between you and Gracie, are things that helped develop a bond like no other, even though it was a short time. She loved you just as her dad, understanding that she was the new one in the family. Yet loved just the way only your kind, tender heart could love.
I am sorry I can not attend the service, but I will forever treasure I was the one with you when you took your last breath on this Earth. I love you. Best Buddy’s ALWAYS 👍👍L.G.F. 🎣 Love, Trey-Trey
