George “Grandpa” Miller • August 10, 2021

George “Grandpa” Miller, 77, of Pensacola, Florida, passed at home on August 10, 2021.
He was born on February 23, 1944 to Baron and Geraldine Miller in Pensacola, Florida.
He graduated high school at Tate HS. He worked as an Electrician at Air Products and was a landlord of a 4-unit apartment building. He loved farming/gardening and animals and has even been known as an animal whisperer, especially to his Doberman Max, his German Shepard Cotton and, Yvonne’s cat Critter.
His journey with God began at Olive Baptist Church and continued later at East Brent Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jean, his two children, Yvonne (Justin) and George (Lyndsey), and 6 grandchildren, Asia, Willie, Eli, Braxton, Dorothea, Phoenix, and brother, Jerald (Sharon). He is joining his parents, and brother, James Robert, in Heaven.
George loved farming as a hobby so much that he even owned multiple tractors and cultivated and plowed a garden for decades. If the question was asked, where’s Grandpa, the answer was always “watching tractors”. George was an avid follower of a farming reality TV show on YouTube, Westerns, and Wheel of Fortune.
George was a kind, protective, and stubborn teddy bear. He was the most reliable person, that might take a minute to warm up to you, but had a great sense of humor.
