Floyd Blackmon passed away peacefully on November 25, surrounded by his family.

Floyd was a native of Pensacola; a member of Brownsville Baptist Church; and
a member of the 1957 Babe Ruth League World Champions.

He coached Little League Baseball for many years at Brent Dixie Youth Baseball Park. He retired as a Supervisor from Monsanto Corporation after 35 years of service

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Casey and Melbaline Blackmon; his twin brother, Lloyd and a sister Loretta Blackmon Vitt.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Valeria, His children; Cindy Weatherford (Jimmy), Floyd Nathan Blackmon (Cindy),Renee Paterna (Ken) Emily Jordan (Tommy)Tim Merritt (Teri), a brother, James Thomas Blackmon (Leslie); sister Diane (Gary) Marshall.

Floyd leaves to cherish his memories; 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great-children. He also leaves behind his devoted cat, Gator.
A private service will be held for the family. Arrangements are under the Care of Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
