Florence Kimbro • November 20, 2020

Florence Kimbro ascended into Heaven on Friday, November 20, 2020 from Wesley Haven Villa at the age of 98.
She was a wonderful, loving, and devoted Mother, a faithful Christian, often ministering to others. Her beautiful smile always greeted everyone, family, friends, and strangers. She was born in Castleberry, AL, the last surviving of 9 children. She raised her 3 sons in Pensacola, FL working as a bookkeeper in the construction trade. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church, attending regularly while she was able and later virtually on her i-Pad. She enjoyed watching and singing along with The Gaithers Gospel Hour on Sunday afternoons, which brought her much joy!
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Duane McCrory (Bebe), Marty McCrory (Joni), and Randy Howard (Becky); six grandchildren, Michael McCrory (Kristin), Mary Ann Mullins (David), Mark McCrory (Courtney), Ashley Rivera (Javier), Lindsay McCrory, Brandi Connell (Richard); nine great grandchildren, Adriana, Olivia, Logan, Enoch, Sarah, Adler, Amber, Mackenzie, and Hannah and numerous nieces and nephews.

We will miss her and think of her daily, and remember all the great life lessons she taught us.

Special thanks to the caring and loving staff of Wesley Haven Villa .

The beautiful lady that was like a Mother to me. Aunt Florence was just always there for me since my earliest memories. She was kind, loving and so generous with all her assets and herself. She was there for my birth and for every important event of my life. Her love was stated and shown by her actions as she always said I love you “shugah” when we parted. Her love for her Jesus was always at the forefront of her life and her actions. You will be missed and I know you are rejoicing with your loved ones who were waiting for you. Peace, Love and Joy always.
