Fairy E. Redding, 81, of Pensacola, passed away January 21, 2021.
She was born in Stonewall, MS to Pete and Thelma Lewis. Fairy was a resident of Pensacola for 55 years. She worked in retail for 10 years and attended Pensacola Baptist Temple.
Fairy was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the PTA and very active with her church and family. She loved doing for others and had the sweet spirit of God. Fairy was always so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye.
Fairy is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Redding; sister, Joyce Mangram; brother, Tommy Lewis; mother, Thelma Lewis and father, Pete Lewis.
Left to honor her memory are her daughters, Lorie Mizell and Lisa Rutter; grandsons, Andrew Mizell (Courtney) and Brandon Mizell (Ashley); great grandchildren, Payton, Fynn, Carter, Hailey and Little William (Conner); sisters, Janice Fowler (Jerry), Donna Carter (Henry), Linda Story (Jimmy);and brother, David Lewis (Peggy).
To our angels from Emerald Coast Hospice, Mary Jo and Phoebe; you filled our mother’s last days with compassion and comfort. You will never be forgotten. Also a special thank you to all family and friends for the prayers and beautiful cards.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Baptist Temple from 11:30am-12:30pm Monday, February 1, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 12:30pm. Graveside services will follow the funeral at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

    So glad Fairy is with her Savior and her husband now and out of pain and sadness at the loss of her Bill…she gave me great comfort when my own mother passed away in 2013 and I will never forget her kindness and loving spirit…my sincerest condolences to her entire family and may the peace of the Lord help them through these most difficult of days…
