Emma Jean Vickers, 97, of Pensacola passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.
Mrs. Vickers was born in Vick, AR and has resided in the Pensacola area for over 60 years. She loved tending to her flowers and plants, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
Preceding Mrs. Vickers in death are her parents, Bill and Estelle Colvin; husband of 66 years, John Arnold Vickers; three brothers, Hansel, Edward and Selvin Colvin; sister, Charlene Clanton; granddaughter, Monica Doyle, grandson, Neil Vickers and great grandson, Blake Foster.
Survivors include her sister, Tasha Scobey; daughter, Dianne Doyle (Tom); son, Marcus Vickers; daughter, Brenda Godwin (Glenn); grandchildren, Darryl Doyle (Michelle), Chris Doyle (Susie), Regina Godwin, Brandon Godwin, Tracy Vickers and Eric Vickers; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10 AM with Elder Michael Johnson officiating.
The family wishes to express their heart-felt ‘Thank You’ to Sacred Heart Hospital, Solaris Healthcare and Covenant Hospice at Sacred Heart Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

    To the family of Aunt Jean. She was so special to me. I will miss her for I enjoyed calling and talking to her on the phone. She would tell me how much she loved me and wish I was there with her. I will always cherish my good memories of Aunt Jean. She was so sweet and kind. She always told me how good Diann, Brenda and Marcus was to her. she always had kind words about everyone. What a wonderful and beautiful person she was. Rest in Peace Aunt Jean

    Aunt Jean may you rest in peace.You was very special to all of us. We will miss you until we meet again in Heaven. To the Family, thank you all for all you did for her. She left behind all of us that loved her very much and now we have our sweet memories. Tom, Dianne, Marcus and Brenda may you have Peace in your hearts and know I love you all.
