Edward Earl Bray “Buddy”, 67, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 13, 2023.
Buddy was born August 28, 1955, in Pensacola, FL, where he resided until his passing.
He graduated from Woodham High School, where he participated in the job entry program.
At 17, he began work at Air Products Chemical Company, retiring as an Electrician after 42 years.
Buddy was known for his fun-loving spirit. He brought excitement and humor wherever he went. He was dedicated to his family, giving his all to his Mom, Wife, Children & Grandchildren. He was a faithful employee, deeply respected by coworkers and friends alike.
He spent a lifetime enjoying hunting and fishing and loved showing off his luck by frequenting the casino. He lived life to its fullest.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, VR and Willie Mae (McGhee) Bray, Brother Wayne and Sister Helen.
Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted and loving wife of 25 years, Vicky Bray; children, Jennifer (Chris) Williams, Angela Bray (Fiancé, David Ruschmeier), Joann Witt, Cristie (Daniel) Boyington, Deann (Patrick) Schlobohm, Jessica (Tyson) Godwin, Jacob Colvillle; 18 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Billy and Charles (Debbie) Bray, Sisters, Ann King, Janice (Mark) King, and Judy Camden. Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins that he adored, as well as a host of dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, 7433 Pine Forest Road, Tuesday, January 17, 2023. The Family will accept Friends At 10:30 a.m. with Service @ 11:30. Officiated by Sister Hazel Godwin. Assisted by Brother Alton Lister.
Pallbearers are Tyson Godwin, Daniel Boyington, David Ruschmeier, Mark King, Randy Bray & Doug Manning. Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy’s Grandsons.
The Family would like to thank the staff and Physicians at Baptist Hospital and Covenant Care Hospice at West Florida Hospital
