IN LOVING MEMORY
It is with profound sadness that the family of Donna Reamer Etheridge, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away at the age of 89 after complications from a stroke.
Donna was born of December 9, 1933 to Roy and Sylvia Reamer in Topeka, Kansas. She was one of sixteen children; eleven sisters and five brothers.
Her parents relocated to Pensacola, Florida. Donna attended Tate High School. After graduation she worked at Monsanto until she retired in September 1993.
Donna loved to fry fish for her family and made amazing fried green tomatoes. She loved quilting, sewing, embroidery, crocheting, reading her Nook and working in her yard. She spent numerous hours raking leaves that seemed to fall endlessly. Donna loved being around her family and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition, Donna loved her poodle, Sandy. She pampered her and made special meals for her until Sandy passed away.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Debbie Feaster (Tom), son, Michael Etheridge (Annette); grandchildren, Christopher Armstrong (Tammy), Chad Zauner (Rana), Brant Zauner, Ashley Lundry (Kellen); great grandchildren, Chandi, Corbin, Hudson, Chaden, Kellen, Braxton, Cambri, Lincoln, Hunter, Graham, Whit; sisters, Beverly Watson, Arlis Stevenson, Betty Carroll, Shirley Waterman; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12th at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The visitation will take place from 1:00-2:00 PM with the Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital and Covenant Care Hospice for their care and compassion.
