Donald Martin Shepherd, age 74, formerly of Darien, Connecticut went to his heavenly home on July 21, 2021. Donald was born in Savannah, Georgia to Clyde E. Shepherd, Sr. and Victoria Pendy. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for General Motors throughout his life. Don attended Brownsville Assembly of God and was a graduate of the University of Alabama where he was a member of two fraternities.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Elliott Shepherd, Sr. and Victoria Pendy; and his brother, Clyde E. Shepherd, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlotte Waldorff Shepherd; his brother, Robert W. Shepherd (Judy Claire); nephews, Clyde E. Shepherd III (Daiana), John R. Shepherd (Christie), and Brian Patrick Shepherd (Michelle); grandnieces, Elizabeth Shepherd and Kenadie Shepherd; and grandnephews, Clyde E. Shepherd IV, Graham Shepherd, and Hudson Shepherd.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 1PM-2PM with a service beginning at 2PM officiated by Pastor Bill Heiden.
Pallbearers will include Robert W. Shepherd, Clyde E. Shepherd III, John R. Shepherd, Brian Patrick Shepherd, Johnny Standifer, and Billy Heiden.

    Charlotte, we are so sorry for your loss. We all loved Don and our childhood memories of you coming to visit and when he rode his Harley up to see us will last forever. Gods great blessing was his life and now he is with the Lord. We love you!
