Dewayne Dreadin • September 19, 2022



Elton Dewayne Dreadin 65 of Pensacola Florida passed away peacefully on September 19th 2022 surrounded by his loved ones after a short battle with cancer.

Dewayne is preceded in death by his father Elton Leon Dreadin and his brother Johnny Dreadin.

Left to cherish many memories is his wife of 31 years Theresa, his children Daniel Dreadin (Tori), Guy Hardy (Dorie), Wesley Carroll, Anthony Carroll (Caitlyn), mother Doris Dreadin, sister Vicki Ricke (Kevin), Donna Eldridge Cabrea, 7 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dewayne was a native of Pensacola. In his earlier years he worked in his family’s skating rink businesses. In his later years he worked in the construction industry.
Dewayne was an avid hunter and enjoyed sharing his passion and love for the sport especially with his children and grandchildren.

Special thanks and appreciation to Regency Hospice, Dr. Joudeh and his team at the Woodlands and special family friend Annabell Hilliard.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 10:00-11:00am with funeral to follow at 11:00am.

He will be forever cherished and greatly missed…Until we meet again.
