Dennis Dewitt Fulk, affectionately known as “Chewy” died peacefully at Covenant Hospice in Sacred Heart Hospital on November 2, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida at the age of 78.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Velma Fulk of Pensacola, Florida. His sister, Judy Fippen of Milton, Florida; daughters, Elizabeth and Marc Rotzow of San Jose, California, Lori and Keith Masterson of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Holly and Carl Hance of Perdido Beach, Alabama; grandchildren, Ava Marlena Rotzow, Cody Hance, Haley Hankinson, Jake Masterson and Keith Masterson.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Herbert Fulk; brothers, Jim Fuller and Bill Fulk.
Dennis was born on February 3, 1942 in Rock Island, Illinois to Geneva and Herbert Fulk. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served a tour in Vietnam. For over four decades, he was a State Farm Insurance Agent in Pensacola, Florida. His favorite past times included golfing, Florida State football, a cold beer and a good cigar.
Graveside services will be at Barrancas National Cemetery for immediate family members and close friends. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2021.
