David Monroe Shambley, Jr., 78, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on January 17, 2021. David was born to parents David M. Shambley, Sr. and Addie Shambley in North Carolina.
David worked for Cooper Transportation for 12 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed camping, traveling, the beach, playing cards, Nascar, football and lastly to know him was to know his passion was the stock market.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty Judah Shambley; daughters, BJ Kaser (Bill), Renee Romero (Paul Danny); his son, Jason Adams; stepson, Joseph Brian Judah; grandchildren, Joshua Romero (Aarica), Madison Kaser, Billy Kaser, Elisabeth Romero, Hannah Romero, Mia Adams, Emma Adams; great grandson, Luke Paul Romero, who he loved throwing around the ball with; special friends, Don & Bonita Fowler, Ed Thiele, Bob Scott, Dewey Savin and Tom Williams.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 9AM, followed by a service beginning at 10AM.

    Dave, I am going to miss you this year at week 35 at the Holiday Beach Resort. Without you I don’t believe we can get up a poker game. I won’t see your smile again when my hand is better than yours. I will miss our conversations about the stock market. I have appreciated you advice over the years. Thanks for all the beer specials you had waiting for me when I got to Destin. I Will miss you..
