Mrs. Bobbye J. Covan, age 83 of Pensacola, Florida died on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and guidelines sent from the CDC, the family will be having a private service. The family would like to Thank everyone for your love and support at this difficult time. At a later date, Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home will announce a Celebration of Life service that truly honors the life of Mrs. Bobbye.

    Bobbye was my mother’s best friend and a 2nd mother to myself and my brothers. She was loved by everyone that knew her and was always a ray of sunshine! Bobbye was every students FAVORITE substitute at Brentwood Middle School. She was everyone’s FAVORITE person to bump into at Brent ballpark, the FAIR, or just out and about. She made everyone feel loved and special EVERYTIME you saw her and the world will was definitely a better place when she was here! Her family and friends can rejoice in that she resides with our Heavenly Father!

    Our Aunt Bobbye was very special and loving to the six of us. She always filled the room with laughter and brought smiles to everyone’s face. She always welcomed us with “Hey sweetie” and gave us a sweet kiss. Nobody will be able to recreate her delicious banana pudding. We will miss her so much and her sweet love.

  20. Anyone who knew my Ganny knew the bond we shared. I have no words for the utter heartbreak I feel at her passing. I do take comfort in knowing she has finally been reunited with my Grandaddy Dan and so many loved ones and friends she saw pass through the years. It is particularly difficult not to be with all of our family and friends to honor her properly at this time but thank you Daddy,Uncle Jerry,Aunt Shannon, Aunt Jeanette and Ms. Sharon for all you’ve done to honor her as we can. Thank you to the many other family members and friends who popped over to check on her, cared for her, took her to appointments and just sat with her. My love and prayers are with everyone and just know she’s waiting to welcome us all home with a slice of pound cake and big glass of sweet Tea! I love you Tailie and I’ll carry you with me always.

    Mrs. Covan was an amazing lady. I had the privilege of knowing her and her late husband Dan at Lakeview Baptist Church. I also grew upon with Jerry and Scott. I know Mr Covan was excited to meet his loving wife in Heaven. I have not seen her in several years but growing up around her she definitely was a lady you never forget. Jerry and Scott my deepest sympathies to you both as well as her extended family. Heaven gained another angel and Mr. Dan was reunited with his precious wife in Heaven. As a Christian I know we will see them both when it’s our time to go. Job well done Mrs Covan
