Bobbie Jean Burgans
Born June 29, 1942
Deceased July 31, 2019
Bobbie was preceded in death by her one true love, her husband of 49 years Ollie Joe Burgans.
She leaves behind her 4 children: Terry Weisensel, Vicki Burgans, Linda Burgans and Joel (Carol) Burgans.
She also leaves behind her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bobbie passed away after a lengthy illness ultimately due to medical malpractice/negligence. She fought a very long, painful and brave fight. She wanted to recover so she could still be here for her family and friends.
Bobbie was always a great wife and mother first. She was always available to help her family with any and all of life’s problems no matter how big or small. She was a confidant, a loyal, true friend. She valued her family and friends and loved spending time with them. She had many long time friends including, (not limited to), Liz Scott, Joyce Kimmons, Arlene Jordan Bob and Dianne Coburn, (both of whom preceded her in death) as well as her many campground and fishing friends. She loved camping and bass fishing. She was an avid and very adept bass fisherman, often able to catch bass when no one else could.
Bobbie worked at several jobs during her lifetime but one of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a Paralegal and making a career of it. She was able to help many people with their difficult life circumstances including wills, Power Of Attorneys, divorces, some criminal cases, etc… She worked for a few different attorneys with her long time employment being for Paul Fitzgerald. She retired some years ago to spend time with her husband, children and friends.
Bobbie had plans to go back to see and spend some time in the mountains to enjoy God’s creation. She also had plans to attend more Christian gospel music concerts by The Booth Brothers and some other Christian artists. We attended three of their concerts together last year and she loved their music and ministry. She is singing with the Angels now.
Bobbie believed in and loved Jesus and he loves her. We are certain that Jesus and Dad met her at the gates to escort her into her Heavenly home where there is no more pain or sorrow. She will be greatly missed by those she has left behind and we are sure she and Dad will be waiting for us to join them when our time here on Earth is over.
