On Thursday, February 4, 2021, Alfred Jordan passed away at his home after battling cancer. He was 93 years of age and a resident of Pensacola since 1970.
Alfred Jordan was born in Miami on November 5, 1927, the son of the late Grady Jordan and Bessie Smoak Jordan. Alfred joins his siblings he loved dearly who predeceased him, sister, Rosemary Taylor; brother, Grady Jordan; brother, Eugene Jordan; Bobby Jordan, Betty Chamberlain, James Jordan.
Alfred leaves behind his loving wife, Frances of 64 years; his children, Frances Dorene, Frank Douglas, and Franke Dean (Frank). He also leaves behind his nephew, James M. Taylor (Judy); grandchildren, great grandchildren and his church family he has been with through the years.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 form 1pm until the service begins at 2pm. Masks will be required per the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Children’s Hospital.
