Tommy, Alice, Betty and Donna: What a blessing for me to have had the extra memory at Thanksgiving with Patsy and share her children and all her “grands”! I have always known the pride she and Don had with their family and know how blessed of God they have always felt! Distance has been a constant factor between our families and I wish I could have controlled that; however, it made the gatherings filled with excitement and great joy whenever there was a gathering of relatives. We shared great, fun times and shared heart-breaking losses. Patsy & Don were a deep source of strength to me when I lost my mother ….. I have, truly, cherished their comfort and wisdom – especially during that time. I am greatful to be in this family and to have shared her last “Thanksgiving with Family”! A happy gathering for all – just as she wanted. Please remember: Jesus hears the whispers of the heart. He is acquainted with loneliness and sorrow. His love unites what is broken apart. His grace always gives us tomorrow. I will miss Patsy’s wonderful spirit.
